Car phones (really)

I had a request today for a mounted car phone and whether they still make them. I found a couple models on the Nokia UK website such as the 6090 and an explanation of how it has far superior reception than any handheld. However, it isn't avaiable in the states. Does anyone know what the options are for the traditional style mounted car phones in the USA?

Last I knew ALLTEL still carried some of these. The trick is getting someone to install it. There could be someone in the local office who knows someone who can install. If nothing else, your local Best Buy could have someone.
