Cellphone addiction?

"The average college student uses a smartphone for about nine hours each day.

That’s longer than many of those students spend sleeping. In fact, such extended cell phone use shows that the technology could become an addiction, according to a new study. An addiction is a type of uncontrolled and unhealthy habit.

What’s not so well known: “People can be addicted to behaviors,” says James Roberts. He’s a marketing professor at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Roberts also was the lead author of the new study. It appears in the August Journal of Behavioral Addictions.

Some cell phone users show the same symptoms that ...

unlimited WiFi?

I want to use the unlimited data I get through straight-talk. I know foxfi won't work with a straight-talk phone, but I wonder if there is a non straight-talk phone that will work when coupled with straight-talk and foxfi.

State of retail repair industry?

Now that apple has started to repair i5 for $150, most retail repair stores cannot compete. Their business relies on i4/i4s repair.

When these models fall out of cycle, what are everyones thoughts on repair store boom?

Can they afford expensive LCD screen to stock on shelves? Can they compete with competition from carrier repair/exchange?

TYLT VU Wireless Charger

I've been doing a lot of research on various wireless charging pads and I found this one to be the best. The company TYLT has a wireless charger called the VU and they have a page on www.kickstarter.com. It seems to have a of features which other wireless chargers don't have like free positioning technology and trickle charging. Does anyone else have any feedback on this particular charger?

Using bluetooth to make my landline phone ring with my cell phone

Hello,
I am new so please bare with me. I have a Galaxy 3 which I hate but I was in an accident and my sister bought it for me. She just went to AT&T (my carrier) and asked for the best phone. Until I buy a windows phone I have a question about bluetooth on this phone.
I also have a Panasonic KX-TH1212. With my windows phone I simply activated bluetooth entered the password and pushed hte link button on the cordless landline phone. After that I could answer either phone without any problem (cell or landline). I tried the same thing with the Galaxy 3. When I go to Bluetooth under settings I see both the base unit for the landline phone and the Galaxy 3. I pushed the link button on the base unit and entered the password on the Galaxy ...

Does Cell phone spying work?

Hi all,
I see these websites ADs that you could listen in someone elses call, read text check pnone contact list ect without installing anything on the target phone. I was wondering if it is possible.

My question is; Is it possible? If you answer yes please explain. Remember you do not have access to the target phone. What distance does the target phone has to be for this to happen?

Can I hire may be an internet company to do this for a monthly fee? So all I recieve is the data.
Thanks
