Bluetooth Speakerphone

I think it'd be pretty neat if there was a Bluetooth program for computers that when a call came in, it allowed the user to take the call through his computer, the computer acting as a speaker phone. Or like a wireless earpiece works. Is there such a thing?

If not, it'd be cool to have something like that. At least I think so.

I'm not sure if it would work, but you could try setting your computer into discoverable mode, and then search for handsfree devices from your cell phone. If it detects it and successfully bonds with the computer as a handsfree, you've got a pretty good shot of using the computer as your speaker phone an mic.

It is possible. I've done this by accident before. A long time ago, I had my laptop paired with my T68i for Internet access, and when a call came in and I answered, I heard the other person through my laptop speaker instead of the phone. (But my laptop didn't have a mic, so I had to hang up, turn off Bluetooth, and call the person back.)

Really? Nice! What kind of laptop was it? I'd really like to get this feature somehow on my PowerBook G4.
