Mp3 Phones w/ microdrives
Does anyone have a clue when we might see something like the Samsung Thor concept phone being released? I have been wanting a device like this for SOOO long. Have some pretty good design ideas for them as well. Wish i knew the right people. Could we maybe see something at the 3GSM or CTIA confrencees?

Yes. It's coming. Trust me - it's going to be huge. Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung... and almost everyone else I've talked to in the last 6 months has hinted that hard drive phones (for MP3) are coming in 2005. The technology is almost there and everyone's working on it.
A year from now, everyone is going to have a hard drive phone on the market. And yes, I do expect at least a few such announcements between those two shows.

Thanks Rich. Thats great news. I am really hoping that Samsung will come out with a phone that resembles that sexy lookin Thor. I loved the look of the thing. I wish i knew someone in the phone business. I would like to get into it one day. Got some good ideas that im sure someone at one of those big manufacturing companies has already come up with. Can't wait to see what is to come this year.
