Nokia 6630

Can anyone tell me why this phone is not listed on Phonescoop?

The 6630 is not listed because it is a 3G phone designed for European and Asian 3G networks. It will not work on U.S. 3G networks.

You can technically use it on U.S. GSM networks, but if that's all you buy it for, then you're paying a lot for technology and features that you won't be able to use. We don't recommend it.

Phone Scoop focuses squarely on the US market. While Phone Scoop does cover some overseas phones that will work here, that's because this is usually easy with unlocked GSM phones. We recommend buying phones that way.

There are many more issues with 3G phones - it is usually much harder, and the phone just really aren't designed for that. That's another reason why...

Rich,can you tell me why it won't work in the
us,most gsm carriers it will work on and said
theres no problem,what other ph could match up
to this phones capibility,let me know ,chuck

I didn't say it wouldn't work in the U.S. It does have GSM 1900 and therefore can theoretically work with T-Mobile. I haven't tried it.
