Blackberry 7290 - Cingular/TMobile

The new Blackberry 7290 has bluetooth, but so far is only being sold by Cingular. Is it possible to buy the phone from them and use it on the TMobile network? If so, what is required?

It has to be unlocked. It is a tideous process to get Cingular to unlock any phone. Best bet would be to try and get it from RIM direct.
