Anyone have any other info. regarding the price and when it will be available in stores.?? I'm due for an upgrade today 10-03-06, and I'm itching to get the LG-9800. How long do you think the wait will be?? Anyway, I'm a newbie... and I love these forums... they have been very informative. Thanx everyone!!!!

This phone is supposed to hit retail stores somewhere around November 17th. I heard this from a reliable source but it is not confirmed yet.

Thank you emodrums20 and I really hope your reliable source is wrong... I've been ready to purchase the 9800 for awhile now, and I've heard that the 9900 was due 1). Sept. 29th. 2). Oct. 13th... now, Nov. 17th!!!!.... STOP THE TORTURE!!! I need exact dates people... I have a $100.00 credit for an upgrade and I'm caught between a rock and a hard place (sort-of-speak).
By-the-way, have you seen the 37+ page thread on this subject in one of these forums. (sorry, I forgot which one it was) Just type in LG-9900 in the subject line... you'll find it. Anyway, thanks for your response, now I have another date to ponder.

I've heard November 17 from my Verizon Rep, so it's probably true.

Unless they have other sources where they are pulling it from, no verizon rep knows exact release dates until a week prior to the release.

So do you know if it can open Word or Excel doc.? Is it really as thin as the bottom part of the 9800? I just found the best pic's of it so far. Here's the link

Dates at this point mean squat!!! This thing has been dropping since Sept. YEAH RIGHT!!! I won't believe it tell I walk into VRW and see it displayed. Enjoy the pic's everyone.
