If you are considering the LG 8500 - just one small thing that no one will tell you when you buy the phone.
The "touch pad" on the front of the phone is a great innovation however, as a touch pad, one small scratch - something that can happen from a coin or a key in the same pocket as the phone, can totally wipe out the sensitivity of the touch pad. In fact, phones have been know to start scrolling on their own when the scratch takes on the "appearance" of a touch on the phone.
Want a chocolate? Make sure you have a protective case - or find another phone to purchase.

it's called the chocolate phone because when you slide it out it is supposedly the exact length of a Hershey's chocolate bar. They managed to nickname it when it was originally brought out in Korea.
Apparently it is supposed to have a rather nice mp3 player on it and some kind of video talk player on it. Just little snippets that my boss has told me..... it's supposed to be priced similarly to the Samsung A990.... i'm hoping not, because i really want this phone. If anyone knows anything else let me know!!! 🙂

I just heard it's gonna be nowhere near the A990 but close to the 8300. Such conflicting info.
