Rumor Mill

Does anybody know when Verizon will be releasing their new ptt service I think it is going to be (EV-DO) not (1X). Please correct me if I am wrong with the standards. One of the managers in a local Verizon store said within a couple of months, another phone rep said perhaps by the end of the year. In my opinion it could be out tomorrow and they wouldn't know. I only say that because when companies switched from analog to digital, I had went into a local Verizon store and asked them when they were releasing digital since AT&T already released theirs, they said they didn't know, later that day I switched to AT&T, 2 days later Verizon released their digital phones. So if anybody knows anything please let me know.
