Speaking of phones
Can anyone tell me why Verizon can't (or won't) put out a smartphone for around $200.00. I don't want a PDA but I would like to be able to sync my contacts and calendar from me e-mail client. Cingular has 2 smartphones for $199.00, hell Nextel even has a windows smartphone. Verizon had a Samsung but discontinued it without a replacement. Does anyone have any information or rumors of a smartphone coming out anytime soon for Verizon wireless?

You're lucky you can find any phone at Verizon under $200! Ask them if ole Vodafone will send them a cheaper Smart Phone. Nevermind, GSM won't work with Verizon, guess you're gonna have to bend over and take it for 2 years. Merry Christmas!

Hmmmm. I'd be happy to pay more than 200 dollars if i know im going to be able to get coverage. Verizon gives me coverage where my Cingular phone wont even roam.
Besides Europen and Asian GSM uses different frequencies than GSM used in the USA so it doesnt matter anyway.
