Cingular or Verizon for high speed internet in West
I live in Utah where Verizon is not yet Broadband capable or Cingular UMTS capable. I am trying both companies with their wireless coverage. Both companies say they are trying to hit the medium range cities with high speed wireless by first of year. Which of the companies do you think will hit their goal?

My understanding is Cingular already has EDGE covering most of that region.
Can you be more specific about where you live in Utah. I can ask some of my Verizon friends who run stores in the Salt Lake area if that is where you need the service.

I live in Salt Lake. I hear that Cingular will have 20 markets wired for UMTS by the end of year. I would think that Verizon may have Utah wired by then.

When Verizon Wirless first released broadband they said it would be cover a certain amount of people in a certain amount of time and Denny Strigl actually said @ a wireless convention we have followed through with our word and broadband is where we said it would be by today, we told you that last yar and we have kept our promise!! Verizon is a company of its word!! I believe cingular employees are trained to lie!!!!!
