Sprint's Curve Delay Wise Decision, Verizon Suffers.

I can't help but sit here and read these posts about Verizon's curve and laugh. I mean I have been on here for at least the last month with rebuttle after rebuttle, defense after defense, and post after post defending Sprint for delaying their Curve release because of software issues. I said time and time again that Verizon only required an 80% pass rate on their curve while Sprint was requiring a 95% pass rate. No one believed me, save for a few people. Everyone doubted my sources and information (which came from Blackberry themself). Read my posts, I tried to tell everyone to be patient, a good phone is worth waiting for.
Now Verizon has their phone and I see negative posts already about software issues and bugs. I hear people compla...

Maybe it's just me, but I can't find ANY people complaining and whining about the Verizon BB Curve, or talking about ANY problems with it. Perhaps you can step aside from patting yourself on the back for a moment and actually help some people out by pointing out some of these issues (if they actually do exist)?

Your dramatic statement about a Verizon recall seems quite far fetched since I am finding it hard to find ANYONE complaining or whining about issues with that phone.

I eagerly await your reply as I am about to purchase the Verizon Curve.

Mine works like a charm. I have sold over 10 since release and have not had a single call. On the other side I have ported over 15 Sprint customers just this month! Sprint is delaying because they don't know if they will be in business next month the way they are going. 😳 Good try though

Thats a brave thing to say. Sprint is the number 3 wireless provider in the united states. Its tough to imagine the company just "running out of business." plus their new CEO is aparently turning things around in that company.

Sprint is the number 3 wireless provider in the US in terms of SIZE ONLY, but look at the these thoughts:

They are DEEEEEEEEPLY in debt. Nobody can argue with that, its pretty black and white. From what I understand, they are also just going further and further into debt.

Sprint has multiple quarters with negative net adds in recent years, which is unprecidented compared to the other Nationwide players in the industry. In a recent year, they posted a net loss...

I got 19 Curves in my store on Monday and sold all the first day. Roughly 10 were new lines mostly Verizon and At&t, probably 5 from Verizon in 1 day! Their biggest complaint.........your unlimited plan is a joke with it's own punchline.

These are all posts on Phonescoop from people having issues with their Verizon curve. Yes most issues have been fixed or are being fixed; however the point is that maybe you should actually come on here and read the posts in the forums before you respond to them. There are virtually no posts about the Sprint Curve with the exception of MMS posts (which were known in advance and have always been not available from Sprint).

Those were not 'issues' with the phone, those were prior to the actual release of the phone and GPS is enabled and those 'problems' were no longer problems if you read on. But judging by your posts, you are a Sprint fanboy, so I wouldn't expect any objectivity.

As far as I know there are basically no negative issues with the phone. If you want to complain about Verizon's pricing, I am with you on that one. I am reluctant to sign a new 2 year agreement to commit myself to paying over $100 a month for a cell phone. But the BB Curve on Verizon has very few, if any, issues to be resolved.

oh trust me I am objective, the fact that Verizon has exclusive rights to the next Blackberry (Thunder) has got me seriously considering Verizon. But their prices will probably keep me at Sprint.
The "issues" were not prior to release like you said. I don't care if someone got their phone before the "official release date", if they got the phone it's because Verizon allowed it. If they hadn't, Verizon wouldn't have activated it for the customer, but they did. These issues were problems that Verizon allowed to happen because of failure to properly screen and test the device because they were in such a rush to release it. Guess what....Sprint still got their Curves first (in stores that is) and their isn't a single post on here or anywh...
