Nextel merging with Sprint
Does anybody know when Nextel is going to merge with Sprint in Grand Rapids MI? All of us have been waiting for this so we can get more phone options and such! Thanks for the help.

nextel is merged with sprint. I would guess since in your area they are not then you are in an affiliate market. So the question is when will sprint if they can buy out the affiliate. And I would guess its IPCS

as bad as you think you may want nextel and sprint to merge...u really shouldn't...when nextel and sprint merged in my area, everything went to hell and back a couple of times...the customer service went to an all time low and nobody knew what was going on...let me tell you it sux bad

Just not in affiliate markets. When you are in them markets you really aren't a sprint customer you are like a MVNO. The affiliate dictates what to charge and features not sprint!

Sprint has stopped trying to buy some affiliates. I live near Kokomo In and sprint waiting for them to go belly up, so thay can take over.
