Service expansion??? Verizon??
hi all, first time member long time user. MY QUESTION: i have been looking a long time to find info on verizon wireless expansion into areas they don't own yet. does anyone know any info, or where i can find that stuff out? I.E. Martinsbug, WV has only ext network, when are they getting verizon towers/extension?

The only people that will be able to tell you that is the closest store to you. If you call in, they won't have a clue. If there are any plans of a cell site the closest store will have at least heard about it. They may not have much detail, but they should know about it.

Verizon Wireless would have to acquire licenses(spectrum) in order to put up "towers". In the case of WV, VZW may have already made an offer to the operator of the incumbent on either the 'A' or 'B' side of the cellular side in either a whole region or however the licenses are broken down in that particular area. In a basic way, what I am saying is if you have a fishing license that covers specific area of a lake and forbids me to fish in, then you sell it to me and I get the use of your boat and all of the waters in this specified geographical area.Th...
