who has the best service for wireless laptops, i would like to spend 29.00 a month and verizon is 79.
t-mobile has a 29 dollar plan but it is dial up speed. is there anything else?

AS for getting good wireless service you get what you pay for. Yes verizon is expensive but they seem to have a pretty good handle in the larger markets. (dont do VZW if you are in rural areas) t-mobile is on the cheap side and have gone dial-up. In the future I see cingular doing a great job but it will take a min, i year to smooth out this att take over

Cingular offers the fastest access currently and they are upgrading to be the fastest in the future as well. it IS more expensive than Tmobile but it's waaaayyyy faster. VZW has a product in use in a few cities that is faster than edge, but won't have national access til the end of next year. if you're looking for the long term advantage... go with cingular.
