IPHONE OPIONS PLEASE
Alright...I happen to work for the carrier that has the exclusive on this phone....or should I say will have when it is released.
Is it 3G or not...the apple website says nothing about it, but would Cingular bring a non 3G phone on board when that is the only direction they seem interested in going. Someone said that they may not be listing it as 3G because it will eventually be offered to other carriers...granted this is years down the road...but that other versions will not be 3G, as other carriers are not on that network.
Another thing.....really is anyone else thinking that because it is totally keyless....I mean how long is this screen going to last...I would be very reluctant to purchase the phone for that very reason. If this...

According to the 'keynote address', it is not going to be 3G, but will be down the road. Apple very tight-lipped & not releasing any info. They also showed off a BT headset but not saying if it has voice dialing.

Personally, I think this phone is way over hyped! What exactly is going to be so cool about it? Touch screen? There are already have a dozen or more phones out there with it... MP3 player? I don't think I could come close to counting all of the phones that have MP3 players... 2MP camera? Whoopee... can you say SYNC, W810i, 8525, KRZR, not to mention my wifes phone (D900 black carbon) Has a 3MP camera on it... So when someone finally convinces me there is something original about this phone, besides the fact that its being made by a company that's never made cell phones before, well great. I say over rated!

Yeah...I think that this phone is personally way over-hyped...but guess what, there are people who cannot wait to get their hands on it. I think anytime something is first made whether it be a car or a tv or anything....it is best to wait to make that purchase until all the glitches have been worked out. Call me crazy. I think we will probably only get a few of the IPHONES in at my location anyways and there will be no holding any for anyone...first come first serve. Just do not think this phone is all that great...but it is cool we have the exclusive because there are many out there who cannot wait to get their hands on it. 😁

Wait, What? No this is not something different! That's what I'm saying there are so many phones that do what this phone does already. And if you don't want windows, get something else. I have a Moto A1200 and it runs Linux. It's an awesome phone! I have a 2GB card in it, and I don't even need that much I can put videos on it, pictures, songs, etc. and I still have too much memory. I only paid $375 for my phone and $89.99 for my memory card. So that is still cheaper than the iPhone and I got a two year extended warranty on it. The iPhone is over hyped and over-rated. Yeah it's not out yet so who knows it might be some miracle machine that is the best phone ever invented. But I highly doubt it. People are just interested in it because everyone...

iphone is not that great. the battery sucks and the only thing differnet is the the touch screen the phone is just flashy. thats why people love it.

Just guessing, but coming from Apple, there will probably be a lot of 'computer' in it. Not just phone and music. Almost like a small laptop, although I might be wrong.
