that is crazy! Alltel will never sell because nobody can top them. They have the BEST COVERAGE, CHEAPEST PLANS, AND THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went into 4 different stores so far in eastern NC and have had great service in all of them. I was with Verizon b4 alltel and they were just pityful!!!No service/always roaming, just plain shameful. And Sprint- lets not even get on them- THEY know their service is just terrible. Alltel will remain #1 and also will remain alltel!!

Well i didnt want to point out the obvious about Cingular- small amount of minutes- large amount per month! Their service is ok unitl u go into a rural area- then call it wuits b/c u cant talk 2 anyone till u re-enter some city limits. SSSSSAAAAADDDDD! But overall i would say cingulars customer service is pretty good. They try!! What your take on the companies!

Cingular is the worst and your right they try to make up for their ass service, with okkaaay customer serivce lol I work for cingular I speak from experience, and you right cingular is a complete rip off!

My guess is that Alltel was started for this purpose. Get the company going, make it grow, give it potential, and sell it for profit.
