Can you believe Alltel?

I just went to Alltel's website and they actually claim to have the largest CDMA network in the country!!! What a joke! In their "Hed-to-Head" comparison they actually said they had more coverage than Verizon Wireless! Now that's just plain funny. They don't even have coverage on this side of Colorado. Seriously guys, just give up. 🙄

The largest network is based on trade and roaming agreements with Sprint and Verizon. I am an Alltel associate, and with the roaming agreements in place, Alltel and Verizon have the most coverage. If you want to know where Alltel has its own coverage check out
http://www.alltel.com/corporate/media/coverage.html »

Then compare that to their advertised maps and you will see where they benefit from Verizon coverage.

Actually, they claim is made based on the native network. Alltel only. Alltel has the largest geographical network. And believe it or not Sprint has the largest with roaming agreements as of right now. But the roaming agreement numbers are all very very close.

Themps is right. I am a former Alltel employee and I have seen the numbers. Mile for mile Alltel has the largest physical network, ie the most native tower coverage. I realize this doesn't help you if there isn't a tower in your area but that is why you have 14 days to try it our risk free. You should have figured out before that time ran out that the service doesn't work for you. That's like buying a motorcycle and bitching that it doesn't have enough trunk space, no kidding, that's how it was when you bought it..

VERIZON WIRELESS ABSOULTLEY SUCKS ***. ALLTEL IS THE LARGETS CDMA NETWORK IN THE COUNTRY! Verizon Wireless has poor customer care and they are very RUDE. Their network constantly drops calls! 😡

No network is perfect. If Alltell works great for you then buy it. There are people in other areas where the exact opposite is true.

Alltel makes more money per customer then Sprint and T-Mobile and others. Alltel has a very good business and they are making a lot of money because they actaully cover the licenses they serve completely. As opposed to just main roads cities. Careful, Alltel just might find a way to buyout T-Mobile in a few years if Duestch Telekom gets sick of them.....

They do have the biggest CDMA network in the US. No other carrier matches it. It covers more land in the United States then any other wireless providers network. That is the truth and is not up for debate in any way. They are talking about ACTUAL network coverage that is owned and operated by a carrier. VZW, Sprint, T-Mobile, Cingular all of their networks are smaller. They emphasize covering main roads and cities.
