All I ever see on here are the same two people asking the same STUPID questions over and over and over.. that and anti- Alltel people bashing this and bashing that.. geez, some of you need to get a life.

Come to think of it, its kinda like watching two retarded midgets fighting so.. hey, keep up the good work!

A forum is only as good as the carrier 😳

But in all fairness, I'm sure they're not bad for the few people that populate Alltell's service area.

Considering that's area covers more square milage than any other carrier, I'm sure they're happy.

To each their own. I take issue with the compare-o-matic's claims, but I might even try Alltell if they ever service anywhere important. 😉

there not bad truthfully. But I just get to good of a deal with sprint to change. But if I move 90% of a chance I won't be in their service area. Well home service area!

Well, I never plan on moving back to the middle of nowhere, I'm too much of a city boy 😎 . That, and I still have ridiculous rates on my Sprint, Nextel, Cingy, and T-mob lines.

It's not just the middle of nowhere that Alltel services:

Miami, Atlanta, Virginia Beach, Charolotte, etc. etc. etc.

Come on guys, you're not even making this hard.

Alltel DOES NOT own anything in Miami, FL buddy. Or are you talking about Miami, OH...?

The furthest south on the east side of FL is Stuart/Hobe Sound, FL...

Once again, nowhere important is covered by Alltell. OOOHhhhhh, Atlanta.. 🙄

Ok paddyoc. What's your issue with Alltel? You seem to have an issue but never flat say it. So start your string.

The only issue I have with Alltell is the compare-o-matic. It was full of crap before, and now it needs to be updated ith the changes to ATT/cingy and Sprint, due to changing rate plans. I started a string on it recently..... It would also be nice to be able to try them out, but they don't offer home service anywhere worth living. Now back to Bears/Saints. GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!

They do have service in many places worth living. That was the stupidest statement I've ever heard or read.

How about the united states of america you putz?

They have coverage in many states, if you include only major cities here is the list....

Atlanta, Charlotte, San Antonio, Pheonix, Minneapolis, Orlando, Jacksonville, Cleveland, New Orleans, etc....

The list goes on an on, just because the don't have native coverage in NYC, L.A., and Chitcago doesn't mean they don't service where anyone wants to live. Quit being an arrogant azzhole.

Alltel does not own licensed spectrum in Atlanta, GA or Orlando, FL. Alltel customers receive service through roaming agreements with Sprint and Verizon in those markets.

I know about the roaming agreements I'm not a noob to this stuff, but I was wrong about Atlanta, I meant to say Tampa. Sorry.

I'm ****y because thats the way it is and that is whats helping me get to the top. BTW those cities don't qualify as major. Go Bears! We're in the Super Bowl, F#&ker!

To the top of what? You can't get anywhere like that, and you are fooling yourself if you think you can.

Congrats to the Super Bowl, but in a honest opinion, the colts and pats will probably beat you.

Confidence is not ****iness. Confidence is very important, but the other is not. If your DBs can hold down the receivers and Rex doesn't make bunch of stupid plays you could do it though. Both colts and pats rely on a strong passing game, and they have no "breakout" receivers that you have to worry about like moss.

When you swim with the sharks, you must become the strongest shark. Time to eat some fishies. Thomas Jones is ridiculous, and if has a strong game and our defense is on, we will prevail.

Ok. We all know of the ONE issue with the Sprint comparison. What is the issue with AT&T?
Who cares if you can get Alltel in your area. It's your belief that the BIG city life is better than rural life.

Check out their new Unity plans. Not too shabby. Cities are where its at. I'll never live amongst the broke people in the middle of nowhere.

Paddyoc, you stated the Alltel comparison chart is wrong about AT&T. Where? Show the facts. Unity plans are not changing anything with the comparison chart.

Whatever! The word "crap" is alluding to the word "wrong". Back your statement up with facts about AT&T and the Alltel comparison chart. I think you would be surprised to see that the comparison is dead on about AT&T. Does it say AT&T is a crappy company, NO. It is basically telling consumers that Alltel has options that AT&T does not. Also, it exposes the Alltel brand to consumers to hopefully gain market share.

Ok.... sure! NFL is third on my list of favorite sports. I like college football and then MLB.
Good for the Bears! I have no favorite team in the NFL but I do dislike the AL Davis and the Raiders.

You're currently right. 🤭

Word has it around the water cooler (read "we just got our district rep ****faced and he spilled some news), that SE FL goes on line by June. I'm just a little excited, and jumping the gun some with the claim (come on, it's only a few months).

As my friend stated, Alltel does not have "district reps".

So who are you referring too?

In addition, if you are speculating that Alltel is purchasing licensed spectrum in Miami, FL, then I would be extremely surprised. I would be inclined to not believe your speculation.

Their installed customer base is now over 25 million people. Service is available to somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 million. Having 1/4 of all of your potential customers on your system is a good thing. Verizon wishes they had numbers like that.

You guys need to stop forgetting about "flyover" country. Just because the rest of the nation isn't San Deigo, New York, or Los Angeles, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, or is "backwoods, hick" country. There are a ton of people in the middle of the country.
