Oh sad my nokia broke should i get a razr or what!?!?!
😲 Nokia makes bad flip phones! They might be cool, but not made well I just dropped my 6255i on my kitchen wood floor, three feet at the most and it was so bad that I have to get a new phone! The glued on plastic cover on the faceplate came halfway off and so i pulled it all the way off, the hing cracked and the entire phone has a huge crack on the side! SAD!!!
this is also the same phone that cant do a prl update because it has a locked code in it taht got "lost" when good old cell one swithced to crappy alltel!!!!
So now i am wondering what phone i should get. I have 9 more months left in my contract so I cant renew. I found a razr v3 on ebay for 155 with a buy it now and free s&h! If the esn is cleared, the water indicator is not red...

I am pretty impressed with the LG 355, if you are thinking of something other than the V3c or E815, the LG is fully loaded and from what I have heard isn't all that bad with Reception. My Sales Manager actually dumped his E815 for the 355 and loves it..

I agree the 355 is great, but not up to par with the 6255. If you want an mp3 you are going to have to go with the 815, or razr, or krzr. Is Alltel getting the Nokia 6265? That's almost identical in features to the 6255.

cracking hinges are a way of life for the 6255. thats why alltel discontinued it a couple months after getting it. probably the shortest life span of all their phones.
any phone will break when dropped if it hits just right. razr and krzr won't be any better, just expensive
i've dropped my 6255 several times but i kept it a body glove an it kept on ticking. its software glitches are what really did it in.

well it still works just I have to open it very carefully! I am just going to keep it but save all of my pics etc on my memory card incase i drop it again!
