GSM network

So in the alltel markets that will be divested in the west, will they divest alltel's CDMA and GSM network. Or are they just divesting the CDMA and verizon keeps the GSM roming network?

In cases such as the Dakotas, they're divesting Alltel's network, which has both CDMA & GSM on it. Verizon already has native coverage there. For western Kansas, they're divesting their own network, which was part of the Unicel buyout, due to it being GSM only, and Alltel is already CDMA, and no GSM roaming in that area (per GSMworld.com). In Minnesota, NW Minnesota is seeing the Alltel (nee WW) network being divested, while SW Minnesota, Verizon is divesting their own network from the Unicel buyout. Mos...
