Time issue HTC

I have the HTC 6800 and when I'm in my home area which is in the central time zone the time is ahead 1 hour. I have synced the phone to the network and it syncs to that time. When I go to college (also in the central time zone) my phone is on Sprint's network and the time shown is the correct time.

I called Alltel customer support and they said that this is a known issue with Windows Mobile devices and at this time there isn't a fix.

Does anyone know a fix so I don't have to manually adjust the time? Is anyone else having this problem, or are they just blowing me off?

I have already restarted my phone,*228 the PRL, gone through settings to sync the time to the network.

Thanks... 🙂

have you checked microsofts site to see if they have a patch for the software or checked with htc.one of them may have an update for the problem and carrier doesnt have or know about it yet.

Do you have WM 5 or WM 6?

If you have 5 you may want to download the WM 6 update from HTC.

I have WM6 and have installed the Daylight saving time patch. Which now that I think about it I think that patch might have screwed it up. Anyone know how to uninstall that patch?
