I once had the i205 on BoostMobile, and the call quatily was JUST TERRIBLE! Absolutly can't stand it. I am thinking of switching from T-Mobile to Nextel soon, and I would like to know how Nextel's voice quailty is (For normal phone talking no DC, ect). My firend has Nextel and when she talkes to me, her voice is really clear. Some one claify for me pls.

As with all carriers, it depends on where you are. Sure iDEN (NEXTEL) sounds great, but in a lot of the metro areas NEXTEL's system is way over capacity and plagued with dropped calls and call re-tries.

You will find better performance with a better phone than an i205.

Taking the 15 day trial would be your best bet if your really looking to switch.

i agree with markf, the 205 isnt a good phone to showcase nextel's network.

as markf said, some areas are very good for nextel but some arent. this goes with every carrier anyway.. interference, and a lack of spectrum is hurting them a little bit, but that will change especially since this merger as well as the consensus plan.

some phones are made better then others especially when it comes to nextel becuase it seems that motorola likes giving nextel some good phones sometimes but then doesnt the next time.. for example the bad phones are, 830, and 730 and the good phones are 930, and 605. (there are others)

some are poorly made RF (radio frequency) way and some arent. motorola doesnt like nextel and they will regret it when next...
