I debating on whether or not to buy the i830. I think i'm going to wait until the i930 comes out, but if it's extremely expensive, then i'll just get the i830. Anybody know how much the i930 will go for?
...
since i'm on this topic anyway, how much will the i860 cost? Thnx.

You don't know what it will cost. No one does.
...
atleast 400 bucks.. by the way why get the 930? do you need a pda? becuase thats what the 930 has.. i would go if i were you for the 860 not the 930.
...
Thnx for the input. i definently do not need a pda. I think I might take your advice and wait for the i860 then.... although $400 for a cell phone is more than I was expecting to pay.
...
yea. very smart. you dont need to pay an extra few hundred bucks for the 930/pda .. its basically the same as the 860 cept without the pda. same feeatures same everything. just be patient and get the 860. by the way skip the 830 .. there is no sense of paying 300 bucks for the 830 and then in a few months at the end of summer according to nextel for the 860 another 300-500 bucks. good luck .. if you want more info just ask and i will be glad to tell.

Johnny,
Don't listen to Nextel18. The i860 is a camera phone and there are issues on whether camera phones will be banned because of privacy issues. What will you do then? Oh I know, spend another load of cash to get another phone. Nextel18 is ripping the i930 because it has a PDA, but you will actually have more use for that than the camera phone on the i860. If you want digital pictures, get a decent camera. Heck a crappy digital camer will give you better pics than a camera phone.
If you don't have the i730, why not get the i830? It's a great phone. Yes, it has less battery life, but are you on the phone all day? And if so, keep a car charger or office charger with you. I have the i830 and I love it. It's a very sturdy ...

he says he doesnt need a pda. so he wouldnt need the 930.
the 860 is a gorgous phone its better lookin thn the 830.. if someone doesnt need the pda its a waste of money . get real and over yourself. and actually those camera phones are very good and would be one of the best camera phones in the industry. everyone uses camera phones.
...
"Everyone uses camera phones?"
I know 1 person who owns one. And before you even shoot your immature, smarta$$ mouth off, I know a lot of people. Camera phones are a waste of money. Nice playtoy, but that's it. Most people use it for what it is, a phone.
Oh and I've ssen the pics of the i860 and it's not that great looking. All I'm thinking is that you can't afford the i830 and are trying to justify not getting it by saying you'll wait for the i860. Who knows.
If you have the i730, then stand pat and don't get the i860 either because the differences aren't huge either. A few more different features than the i830, but not that huge. If you really need a camera, get a good one. Go buy a Sony, Fujifilm or Olympus digital cam...

1 phone? that has a camera phone? lol that is terrible. you must live in a very rural town that they cant afford much. some of my friends has camera phones actually like 25 or so and the other 25 of my friends have nextel. but a lot of people get the camera phones. listen to the confernece calls from nokia, motorola and the other vendors who do camera phones. and listen to the conference calls from tmobie, sprint, verizon, cingular. to hear about the how much the camera phone is a big bennefit and a nice revenue stream. obviously it seems like you dont exactly read. but you should. have facts. see i know these things becuase i actually LISTEN to them.
why not wait for the 930? well lets say they cant afford more money than what the 860 c...
