i had both i860 and i830 and i can say that the i860 has a lot better reception and clarity then the i830. hands down- no contest.

with your 2nd question, i dont belive so, but what do you define as "cheaper"?

hahah, good point. well nextel is selling it for $300 with a $50 mail in rebate so its $250. if your a new customer order it through the web and you can save on getting free shipping and free on account set-up fees. (on their website of course. www.nextel.com)

if you upgrade for the 2 year its also $250 with a $50 mail in rebate. so its $300 either way.

by the way try going rate plans then go to where it says sales question chat online for instant help, becuase if your a new subscriber or an existing one they could give you a $50 dollar credit for your first or 2nd billing cycle, but its up to them.

good luck 🙂
