only little.

it wasn't blatantly obvious. All companies work differently. With cingular you have to go to the store and sign papers. I didn't know you didn't have to with nextel. sorry.

yea, you are correct. you didnt know and differnt companies have differnt polices. dont take them so personal i mean grant and muchdrama, they dont know much.
but yea, call up customer service and/or finance/billing and give them whatever information they ask from you and they will be able to help you. by the way its called something like "transform of ownership" or something of that sort.
good luck. tell us how it goes.

Nice to have you back, buddy...I was running out of fools to make fun of.
i actually did this when i was 18 years old with my dad and i. the contract was under my dad's name and i wanted to put it under mine. what happened was that they ran my credit check and i had no problems. next they called my dad to ask him all of the details and ask if he is ok with it. then they called me telling me its all set and fine. (customer care and finance/billing) i didnt have to sign any papers or anything and we didnt have to pay any etf fees. i assume that still exists... you might have to increase the contract length though..
hope that helps..
