When the last earnings report came out we were only trailing by 450,000 subscribers. I think we had 94 million, or somewhere in that ballpark. It's very possible with some very accurate math.

CONGRATULATIONS!

You are comparing the "AT&T voice users plus machine2machine subscribers" against "Verizon phone connections only!"

So, despite being fairly good at math, you two might make lousy accountants.

Excluding Verizon's 7+ million m2m connections while simultaneously including 4+ million AT&T m2m connections is the same kind of thing they called "cooking the books" at a little firm called ENRON we've all heard of...

Including m2m services, Verizon is just over 100 mil...

Because it includes everything, including Business level accounts that use the network but arn't used by "humans" (Like Redbox setups.. these are the Machine to machine devices they're talking about)

Just wait til the first half of next year when Verizon's LTE is in full swing. And new markets being announced constantly. And on January 5th there will be quite a few LTE devices announced at CES.

There will be a lot of exciting news next year, and it WON'T be coming from AT&T.

...when AT&T announces that due to the crappy customer service, the late launch of LTE, our 2GB cap on data, and the loss of iPhone exclusivity we will be selling all our assets to Cricket. Well, it may not be that drastic next year... 👀
