I think that you need to understand that these numbers mean nothing to the majority to the people on here that are more than happy with their service, or their jobs... Just go, and let the happy people be. Seriously.

i am not saying that. i am just giving the information for everyone to see. i know it means nothing, but complaints are complaints. they mean something even though its a small complaint.

that is what i am saying. i am happy for you employees and people, but i just wanted you all to face reality that if cingular doesnt change att wireless' early ways as well as cingular's own past there will be problems.

it is interesting how if you talk about another provider they will scream at you and when you guys do it i dont. very interesting.

this is a message board, i have the right to post information.

I think the biggest thing is you are one of those people who sit and giggle to yourself when you know you're going to get a rise out of people. You don't post information just for the hell of it. You do it because you know that people are going to respond to it. You are like the kid back in high school that would do things not for popularity or recognition but just to piss everyone else off. I for one couldn't care any less about any information you post on a forum. I just think it's kind of sad that the only response you have to people in this forum that dislike you is "I have a right to post" Well I have the right to post too and I don't put half of the things that come to my head on here because more than 80% of the people in here couldn'...

Yea, I do post for the hell of it. I dont care what people say about it. I just wanted to put the information out there and whatever the people want to do they can do. if they get offensive about it something is wrong with them.

I dont post any information to piss people off. They are pissed off because the information that they are reading negatively effects their carrier. I post things that positively effect and negatively effect each carrier that way I dont show any bias.

Again, if they dont like it, they dont have to respond to it. It shouldn't make people upset because it is information thats it.

Again, I dont do it to rise a fight out of people just information for people to see.

That is such B.S.!! It's like saying "I just tell fat people they're fat, just as information, but not to make them mad. They can react how they want to, if they get offended that's their problem not mine." you are so full of it. The "right" to post information is just an excuse for you to get under peoples skin. OH I guess I should thank you for not being bias to any carrier.... NOT!

if you think it is BS something is wrong with YOU. again, i will repeat myself again, i only post information so others can discuss it and do whatever they want with it. i have no means of "getting under people's skin" and anything else you have in mind.

sorry.

I believe the actual post started with "If you think I do this to get under people's skin, something must be wrong with YOU!!!" Or something to that effect.

That isn't insulting??? Ok. Thank You for clarifying the definition of insulting for me because I didn't understand it prior to your post.

i dont think so. why am i posting on the cingular forum? well becuase that whole 4q and full year 2004 numbers included cingular, so i wanted to post it. if you dont like it, i think that is just too bad, becuase it is just information. it seems that you are getting testy a bit, and you shouldnt becuase it is just information.

sorry.

Personally those numbers don't mean crap. The fact is they lumped in two company's into one for 2004, first cingular did a merger in november of 2004 45 days before the end of the year.

Next being real here, the msjority of the blame was from attws, which i worked for 3 1/2 years before merger. And quite frankly some of the issues were carrier related, we(attws) did have systems issues with Local Number Portability and Siebel our system to make changes, both plan and promotion and fature changes, fair enough.

BUT the part of the problem of this was attws had some and still do some of the whinest bitchiest customers i have ever had to...

The way I see it the majority of complaints come from people who don't know why the rules should have to apply to them.

Cust.- What do you mean I have to pay my ovreages, you credited them last time.

CSR- That was a one time courtesy and you were informed of that when it was issued.

Cust.- That may be, but I need a credit again.

CSR- I'm sorry sir but the overage charges are valid and you will have to pay for them.

Cust.- We'll just see what the FCC has to say about that.

The way I see it the better I feel about working for a company who is willing to stick to thier guns and not cave to a whinning customer.

(Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are a number of Valid complaints lodged, but I think the majority just di...

My thoughts: When you have 50 million customers.. do you really expect no one to complain? 90% of the complaints I ever hear are from customers wanting something for free when no way in hell you can get it. Or they complain they cant get service is a solid concrete building and sate they are going to report you for it? I dont ever think I have heard 1 legitimate complaint where I have said "your right"

yea i see what you mean, but you have to remember, when you merge your supposed to have a good network as well as good biling, but many of the complaints were due to those problems.

we will see if those numbers stay at the end of 2005 when the fcc will release theirs again.

there is no excuse for those kinds of complaints though, even with or without the merger. there was actually complaints with cingular and att wireless seperately even before the merger happend. so who knows.

All very true.. but would you really expect a merger of this size to be as easy as 1. 2. 3.?

One of the biggest issues is that customers migrate from AWS to Cingular then when they need to call Cingualr they are closed. So many of those AWS customers are used to 24/7/365 service so when they dont get it they are quite ticked. I do understand that both companies had complaints when seperate. Personally I really dont care.. if someone has a complaint then thats fine.. just deal with it and move on. If something can be fixed fix it 😁

oh of course not. any merger of this magnitude shouldnt be that easy, but i really think it should be. the mangers and execs should have came up with a plan of how to tackle that or this before the fcc, ftc, shareholders and others to ok the deal. i think cingular and att wireless has a lack of very good mgmt becuase it seems like it should be very easy becuase both companies use similiar frequencies and networks. so i think that it should be extremly easy to integrate.

well, i kind of care of what att wireless/cingular do becuase those customers can leave and then other providers will steal those people.

i think cingular/att wireless needs to address those issues very seriously. problems with coverage, service and problems with bil...

First of all, you really need to get out of the Cingular and Verizon forums if all you are going to do is degrade both companies.

Two, I might just have to report this, because technically it is trolling (since you posted the exact same post in two forums) which is against the TOS rules. Weren't you the one badgering Much for violating the TOS? Yeah...

Three, you have to realize that this all happened WHILE CINGULAR AND AT&T WERE MERGING WHICH EQUALS A VERY CONFUSING TIME ON BOTH THE CUSTOMER'S AND EMPLOYEE'S PART.

Four, anybody who reads this and his perfectly happy with their service, which is mostly likely the MAJORITY of the people in here, don't care!

again, i didnt mean to post it twice on the verizon and cingular boards. it happened. and if it did violate a TOS rule it would have been removed. it seems like it didnt.

actually if you read it again, and i did, it said that they were having PROBLEMS BEFORE THE MERGER AS INDIVIDUAL COMPANIES (OR SEPERATE) and they are still having problems now.

stop giving excuses already.

I wasn't only referring to this thread. You also cross-posted the WSJ Article thread onto the Verizon, Cingular, Sprint, and Nextel forums. That's against the TOS. I just reported it a while ago, so it may take awhile for them to be removed.

If you're going to be a prude, so will I. 😉
