SBC/Cingular Rebate

There is a $50 mail-in rebate offered on SBC's site when you sign up for Cingular plans $39.99 and above.

You can't click on the ad for a form or any further info.

When I ordered through SBC via telephone (Total Connections Pkg.), I inquired about that rebate and was told I qualified.

My last 2 telecons with SBC--they keep telling me it's Cingular's problem. But Cingular explained (which I believe is correct) that SBC has to initiate the credit or check to come from Cingular.

I have been told by both companies that it is an automatic rebate and a check will come in the mail. But the ad on SBC's site says "mail-in rebate".

Anyone know where I can obtain this rebate form?

Thanks in advance. 🙂

FYI--I was finally able to get an answer on this today, from Cingular Rebate Center.

They actually said the $50 rebate is for plans $37.99 and above (for each phone paying that amount or higher). That rebate was supposed to be in my Welcome Kit, but it wasn't.

This rebate is different and separate from the $50 rebates offered on select phones (at the time I signed up).

So the rep told me all the info I needed to include, but on a 3x5 index card; gave me the address, box number, etc. to mail it to. I have to send a copy of the IEMI label/barcode and my order receipt.

We'll see what happens; I'll be sending it Certified on Monday.
