exactly. The only reason apple announced the phone is because they have to register with the FCC so testing can begin.
THEY wanted to announce it, not the FCC have it leaked out..

i probably will be out on time but i hope it doesnt turn out to be like the ROKR cuz when that came out it was the first phone to have itunes in it and we all know how bugged out that phone was...u think w/the iphone being the first type of phone to mix all 3 together will it have the same problem or did cingular and apple learn their lesson

No.. I think apple really took the helm in designing/testing this phone. I think alot of the problems with the ROKR can be placed with Motorola.
I read an article yesterday (don't remember where) that said Moto kept making changes to the phone and was pissin apple off. Apple and Cingular worked well together, so they worked together again to create this phone.. Plus yea, I think they learned their lesson. 😁
