Sammy(Samsung) D407, ptt phone, i intially bought the phone for ptt use, grew bored w/ that. nice mid-range phone, black(i love black phones), and i love samsung period, the ui on samsungs are great imo, and im getting the Sync soon.

Nah,I am happy with what I use and I admit my bias to anyone who asks me. Nokia flips are not the quality I expect of them, I so miss the 6010 - elderly customers love them. My SE Z525 I won in a contest doesn't have dedicated send/end keys - I gave it to my wife, I love the W810i but I personally don't like candy bar phones. I used an 8125 for a few weeks - not for me, also too bulky. LG's and Samsungs may be better than the earlier models but they still leave a bad taste in my mouth. I have used a Moto in some form for the last 10 years and I am satisfied with them - my first was an Ultra Lite - remember them?

Don't be so ignorant. Motorola has produced some of the most amazing phones on the planet. Anyone who denies the fact that the V3 is an amazing phone needs to get their fracking head out of their @$$. It has changed the industry. Maybe you don't remember the Motorola V60 and all of it's cousins that spawned from it? Those phones too held up like no other. I mean ****, just until about a year ago Verizon and Alltel were still carrying V60s!

The v3 was a pretty phone like I said. I never said the v3 didn't change the industry, that doesn't mean it worked like it was supposed to. No EDGE because they couldn't get the chipset to work properly. Come on! Don't be a moto fanboy, when you know that facts about quality! Motorola is way behind the curve on quality and RF. We as americans sometimes don't buy what works, we buy what looks nice. I guess you forgot about the white screen of death on all v series phones, or the dest behind the screen on v3's, or the self power cycling of all motorolas? And don't get me started on the mpx220, laughable! I have owned the v60, t720, v600, v400, v551, mpx220, 2 v3's(black & silver), v70, a388, and the vader. I use a lot of phone working for cing...

nah, cingular didn't mess it up. motorola just needs to stop focusing on appearance and focus on quality! look how long it took t-mobile to get the v3i just like cingular. their gsm products just don't stand up to US standards.

Krzr K1..unlocked. Works great. Like mostly for the looks.Can find some plastic snap on covers to protect the glass front. I got some hyroglyphics lookin case from Ebay. Looks like bronze. Different and gets the looks and questions. No dropped calls with this one yet either. Speaker is LOUD for a Motorola. Kinda slow with menu but ok with me.Feels good in the hand.
Nokia 6682...the phone for me. Great reception, never a dropped call. Camera seems to work fine for me. Don't have the issues some 6682 owners have. Best speaker I have had. Can sit it in my lap when driving and talk.

ugh. i got the 680 last friday and i hate it... no caller groups and no java. and only third party apps for mp3 ringtones and they must be stored on a memory card. and i have mail to check every hour and most times it says 'auto synch failed' and i know it's not the settings becuase they work fine on the 8125 and nokia e62. i just dispise treo, i didn't buy it but i am giving it back.

nokia e62. and because it's user friendly and in my area good call quality. just has had a few bugs, but thats usually normal for a first time release.
