Opinions on my next upgrade: N75 vs. A707 (aka Cingular Sync)

Just wondering what you guys think. The specs on the phones are very similar except that the N75 does not support HSDPA where as the 707 does.

I currently have a craptacular V3 and I'm dying to ditch the thing. I haven't owned a Nokia since my old skool 6160, which I friggin loved. The call quality, durability, and battery life on that thing was great. Is this a common trait among Nokia's handsets? I have never owned a Samsung, although my wife had a Samsung SGH-S307 for about 2 years and never had a problem. Anyone know of any problems with Sammys?

Any comments, opinions, flames would be appreciated! 😉

My Samsung rep came in about a half hour ago with both the 707 and the Blackjack. I've personally been holding onto an upgrade for about a year now because I wanted something that did a little bit of everything...3G, music, ect.

All I can say is..WOW. I've never really been that big of a fan of sammy...but both of these samsungs are awesome.

The 707 is about the size of the CU500, but is a tad bit thinner. Screen size is awesome. The rep didn't have a memory card in it so I couldn't tell how easily the music controls on the outside worked.

The blackjack is smaller and thinner than the htc excaliber, which I got to play with a little bit when my HTC rep came in.

I am very temped to just upgrade into the 707 when we get it...

typically,
Samsung does not have as good of call quality as nokia.
The applications usually run better on nokia and symbian is usually better as far as customization than sammy's UI.
Most symbian phones come with software, cables, and memory cards. Where Samsung you have to buy every extra for the phones.
