There's no comparison. The CU500 is better in than the slvr in every way. I've had both, and I can honestly say I've never used any phone that compares to the cu500 in call quality, mp3 player, memory (with card), or camera quality. The only problem is the shorter battery life. This is no big deal though if you charge your phone every night, or if you have a car charger. Plus 3g is absolutely amazing! Can't go wrong especially since it's the only hsdpa handset on the map!

I'd say you have to come to the decision in if you want to use music a lot, and awesomely and effectively with itunes, on the slvr..

Or if you would take a phone with a better camera, 3G capability, music functionality as well (but need to purchase a memory card/card reader separately), and shorter battery life.

The SLVR has awesome battery life, and itunes is amazing. Truly, it is fantastic.

But the 500 has 3G, mmm, and a sweet camera.

If you want them both combined, kinda, I'd get the w810.

If you only want a music phone then definitely go with the w810. If you use MediaNet at all then go with the cu500. The camera on the w810 is about the same as the cu500. The Cingular Video is a lot of fun with the cu500 too.

Bottom line is that if music is most important to you then go with the w810, if you want the total package go with the cu500.
