zx20 now cinglar being strange with the phone
i just got my phone the zx20 buy singing up for a new 2 year deal. i looked on line called up sales for renewal and they had both phones zx10 and 20. i told them zx10 got the 20 sent for zx10 price wow. just to double check my deal i looked on web and zx10 now free with 2 year deal and zx20 99.99 after rebate and 2 year deal. i called up as new customer and they do not have it on there pages to sell over the phone. and one guy said he been there 2 years working and never heard of either phone somethings up but i do not know what and he told me to call the number for web orders. this is strange had my phone less then a week and when i orded they new about both phones and it was on there computer to sell. what up with that last i always ca...

What more do you want? They gave you the zx20 (because the other one is discontinued) at the price of the zx10. Sales reps can't order that phone because inventory is low and is only avail online. Not all sales reps are aware of 3G phones because they are not as popular (few 3G markets) However, I am not giving any excuses for the sales rep. He / She should know all the phone that we offer. Perhaps you talked to a new rep. Who knows?

The ZX20 has been pulled (at least in our market) and I think eraser was right about the sales rep not being in a 3G market. You can't sell that phone if you're not in one.

I hope it was pulled! I liked the phone's features, but you couldn't get more basic on the looks! I hope they bring out a super flat phone like their Spring phone. I would definitely struggle between the cu500, and a flat stylish Sammy 3g phone!
I don't see 3g being a huge seller for Cingular until they do something about the whole tethering contraversey. I think 3g smart phones will sell like hot cakes, but the regular headsets with 3g are only going to be popular with gadget guys until Cingular offers more features with 3g, like maybe FREE MobiTV!!!

I just got word that price on this phone is coming down. No word on it being pulled.

funny it is gone but you know you put your zip code in so different zip codes see different deals maybe it sold only in 3g areas now. I do not have 3 g and not only did i look on the maby i have the phone zx20 and 3g dose not show up on my phone. this is the first phone for me were it out then not. mi only Had it in my hands a week and all this on one phone. usually i get a resent phone or and it out and stays out till they up grade. also they still have thew zx10. they lowed it to free after rebate. maybe i would of forgone with the slower fone since i really never tether it to a laptop and now 3 g in NYC and it is free. so my other thought is maybe they realized they have a lot of zx10 Left over that they need to get rid of. and w...

last thing i live in NYC got my zx20 last week they had it on line and on the phone now it gone zx 10 only on the web. i decided to try my parents zip code they live in st mo and zx10 and zx20 are not on the web today just checked 2 min ago.

i just saw on web at my parent zip in st mo on web can't get 3g phones non no cu500 no zx10 20 now in NYC you can only get zx10 and cu500 if you can't make up your mind or can not get zx20 and can get zx10 just get it it is free when you think a better phone comes around by it. you still have your money. lastly if you call then up and get the phone not listed for you zip. if i Had nothing to do all day and to much money i like to try every zip code with rep till they find it and try to make them send it to me. but i have a life so i not going to waste time.

Cingular doesn't allow tethering without the Data Connect plan, but it doesn't mean that you can't do it. I do it all the time for email, so that it doesn't raise any eyebrows. I would love to use it more, but to add another $50 to my plan is rediculous, and everyone around does and believes the same thing.
