WCDMA 2100

😕 Anybody know whether the "painstakingly slow" auctions produced a winner yet on this frequency? Or if it is even on the auction block? Would like to get a new handset, but from what I've been reading, all the items I'm currently interested in only come in the 2100 flavor. Thanks.

your best bet on that frequency would be Tmobile. Cingular has no interest on that frequency, because after the merger we gain plenty of spectrum on the 850/1900mhz bands.

🙄 Bummer. There are a lot of fantastic handsets out there, if only they would adhere to 850/1900 bands. It's pointless to buy an "unlocked" unit if you can't use it's full capability.
