the signal is pretty good. their are a couple of spots that you would need a good handset to really have a good feel of good signal. i have a set616 and a moto t720, from what i heard they do not have good signal. i would loose signal on the same spots on i80 between sf and pinole every night. i tried with a moto v600 i did not loose my signal once. i enjoy my service especially the rollover minutes. as far as billing yes they've made an error, but my experience is who hasn't. i've had all carriers except tmobile and they all have made billing errors. cingular has been the best to me in my experience in correcting them errors.

I'm new to Cingular and I am in the SF Bay Area. The service is great to me so far with a Sony Ericsson T637 handset.

I have been traveling mostly along the 880 corridor (east bay), between Fremont and Alameda, and once to San Francisco downtown (over the Bay Bridge). I have not experienced any dropped calls or no service areas so far.
