Motorla Q
whats going on i was curious if anyone has heard anything about cingular releasing the motorola Q. I really want the phone but I dont want verizon. let me know.

That's what I hear, too. Verizon's exclusivity (sp?) contract with the Q is ending at the end of this year, and Moto is releasing a GSM version with UMTS data. Supposedly a little thinner, too, but that is not confirmed at all. Cingular would be stupid not to pick it up when it becomes available, just like they would be stupid to not pick up the HTC Hermes when it becomes available (Cingular 8125 w/ UMTS/HSDPA and video calling).

Thats the only choice is to go w/ VZW, cuz they're the only company offering it, check it out on vzw's website

You might want to really think about that before you buy a motorola/windows device. They have been historically HORRIBLE together. Personally, I hope we don't get it. Motorola SUCKS!!!! Stick with HTC for WM5

The Q Rocks! Only pitfall of the Q, or any other Moto product is that it has the Motorola logo on it. I hate Motorola, their cust service and warranty follow through sucks royal @$$. But aside from that part of it, the video and sound quality of the Q is absolutely crystal clear, and the navigation through windows isn't as horrible as most would think it is.
