Another which phone...
Starting up cingular service soon, and would like some help picking a phone. What I really care about: loud and clear call quality, reception strength, and battery life, ( I want a phone, not an everything but a phone ). Otherwise, addtional toys are nice.
Plus, I want to get one for my mom, so simple and easy to use is a necessity for her.
Phones I'm looking at:
Samsung D807 ( looks cool )
SE z520a
Moto v557
Nokia 6682
Any suggestions, or other models?

the z520 offers good batery life, call clarity,
bluetooth, and a fairly nice vga camera.
that would be perfect for the both of you.
the nokia 6682 has alot of features. from mp3 and video to navigation. if you arent gonna use then stay away from this phone.
the v557 is the phone everyone has but complains about.
the d807 has nice camera at 1mp, mp3 player, thin and its a slider.
but go with the z520 if you need just a phone.

Yes z520a. However if you want more, get the 6682, but its really only worth it if you have unlimited media net. Otherwise, get the z520a

Try the Samsung D407, awesome phone. Much better than any of your other choices except maybe the d807.

Agreed... I had low expectations of this phone but I have also been using it for about a week and have nothing but praise.. The only thing I would add to my wish list is a little bit louder speaker.
