Question, new to selling Cingular

I work at RadioShack and pride myself on being very knowledgeable about wireless. I found that I don't have an answer to this question and would like to get one.
If your phone gets wet and corrosion damage does the Sim Card need to also be replaced? I would think so, but I would like to confirm that.

You can usually get away without replacing it...but if its an older sim i would switch it out anyway.

it doesnt need to be replaced unless the metal plate is greenish or rusted. (which is rare) or if they have an old sim i just switch it out.

Most SIM Cards survive water damage from what I've seen. Only once have I seen a SIM card go bad from water. Ironicly the phone itself worked ok with a new SIM chip. I had a really lucky customer.
