Question

Guys,

I have a Nokia 6681 phone (GSM 900/1800/1900). I am from the NYC/Long Island area. Is it a big deal that I don't have the 850 band? How much is the 850 band used in this area? I called Cingular support and they told me that either band is fine. There are no such areas which are only "850" towers. Can someone please help me out? I am wondering if I should keep this phone. Thanks.

Amit.

go to a local store and use their map tool. It specifies which freq each tower uses, and will give you an idea of any gaps you'll encounter with it.
