Updated RazR
I am looking for when CIngular might have the new generation RAZR (is it the V3i???) going to available? This seems to be a possible replacement phone for my existing and underperforming Motorola V400. Any insight is appreciated.

if warranty is replacing your phone then most likely it will be replaced by a v551 or v557. more than likely the v551 since the v557 has screen3 news ticker.
when the v3i comes out warranty will definatly not be replacing the v400 with a v3i since it will have itunes.
if upgrading or purchasing then the razr will be the upgrade. but don't expect it from warranty. its always same, or egual comparison.

I was not actually looking for a warranty replacement. I was looking to change and update my plan and phone to potentially this model and was not sure if or when it might come out.

I think the current word is that it'll be in warehouses in February and be launched in March. From the pessimist's point of view, and considering the lessons of history, it will be pushed back by a couple of months, aka May or June.

the new razr v3i is due out in march, and the rumored song limit is closer to 1000 this time. Look for a slider i-tunes in January.... yea a more stylish phone than the ROKR.. good start, but lets get it right this time..
