I can honestly say that I would not buy that phone based solely on the cons.

Sforsyth01 I will agree that the cons are nice to have but not to buy a phone based on that alone is nuts. Even if the phone had bluetooth I doubt that you would know how to work it, so therfor you have no need for it. And the speakerphone i mean really what do you need that for/ Are you that lazy you can't hold it up to your ear? 😲 🤣

I have to have bluetooth in a phone, so yes, I do buy phones based solely on that criteria. I must have the ability to use a wireless headset while I am driving for voice dial capabilities. I also need the ability to synchronize my phone contacts with my computer via bluetooth. So yes, I do know exactly how to use the BT profiles that I need to use.

ok you could use a regular wired head set for everything you mentioned and i believe this phone has a simcard in it for your phone book, or you could just write them down or type them up!!!!

its rediculous to base purchaseing a phone on 1 feature, if this was the worst phone in the world but it had bluetooth you'd buy it!!!

I didn't say that they were the ONLY features (BT and speakerphone) that make me buy a phone. What I was saying is that I WILL NOT but a phone if it doesn't have those features.

SIM cards work great except when you have at least 3 contact numbers for each contact name. And when you have over 300 contact names, there just isn't enough space on a SIM and I am not writing that many numbers down. 🙄

No bluetooth, no cash from me...

I am at the point due to the business that I have, that my future phones must be "smartphones" in order for me to consider them.
Having the ability to read and respond to emails and format documents on the fly is a business critical must for me...

well this is not a smart phone anyway, so you would not buy it becauase of that right? Not due to the lack of bluetooth? Because bluetooth does not make a phone a smart phone i.e. the s56.

Both, bluetooth to me is now a must, since I am on the road a lot and I can still function as driver (most people still try driving with a phone to their ear, eating lunch, smoking a cigarette, writing down directions, and whatever else all at the same time)
I also want a smartphone.
I will compromise if the phone has EDGE, which is very important also...Again, these are what I want, so that may not work for the next person...

Well the Sony/Eric. w600 has a good majority of all that (except no external screen of course) but has Bluetooth, speakerphone, quad-band, and FM Radio on top of it.

Its a measely 256 mb, come on u can look past that for all the features this phone has to offer. I mean its better than the rokr and a step down from the w800/k750. The buzz is saying that the mp3 player on this phone is amazing.

Well im glad that I have my danceing shoes on, the software that comes with the w600 lets you size the file down with out screwing up how the song sounds, therefor makeing the 256megs not that big of a deal. You can fit over 200 songs on it pluse you are getting a SE not some dreased up LG POS! Thank you and good night!

In all honesty...

I have speakerphone on my phone. I have used it twice.

I have bluetooth on my phone. I have tried to use it twice, but not suceeeded in what I was trying to do.

So... given the pros and cons, doesn't seem that bad, to me.

Obviously, others will have other ideas.
