ROKR Bluetooth (posted i Techs and Trends also)

Got a question. If you link your ROKR via Bluetooth to your Bluetooth enabled Merecedes, BMW, etc., can you listen to your iTunes in the stereo?

Anybody? Just for curiosity's sake, I don't actually own a Merecedes or BMW but would like to know.

I haven't tried it, but I don't think it's possible. You cannot play the music through a bluetooth earpiece, so it's doubtful it would work through a bluetooth car kit.

I have a ROKR, I and have a car kit, but I haven't installed the car kit since my radio is broken and my car is a POS. I'll try to link the two with my bluetooth speaker and see if that works, but I still suspect it not to.

The bluetooth is only for voice on the Rokr, I believe its because its a Moto. There are other phones that play mp3 files, they are just not Itunes and they can be played through BT

I believe the BT on those vehicles is HF only and the profiles would not allow it.

While there are now stereo BT head phones the phone or device must support the profile.
