Aside from the horrible customer service that Cingular provides.. I'd NEVER EVER send a customer to T-Mobile. NEVER.
I'd rather see someone go onto Cingular than that craptastic wireless (NON)provider T-Mobile.

Great, I wonder how many customers Cingular lost today.
...
Probably less than what they gained. Numbers are showing, as is financial and news records, that people are moving towards Cingular. I think it's just a minority making a big stink about it, saying customer service is bad and what not. Makes them look bad.
Just like when you're get into politics (which I don't want to, this example just came to mind). The other day, almost everyone I came across said Bush is to blame for the "slow response" in LA. Well, according to a CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll, 13% said Bush was to blame for the problems in the city following the hurricane.
Small group yelling loud enough to make it look like it's significant.
...
obviously he is not to blame for the hurricane, since it is a force of nature, but ultimatly he is to blame for the lack of response in LA, its all in how they word stuff.
...
Ok, said I didn't want to get into this, but, since you started....
I understand he's not responsible for the hurricane (others still haven't figured that out) nor the levees breaking (same with the others), but most of the problems in LA lies with the governor and the mayor.
Back in June, the mayor told the city that if a hurrican were to come, they wouldn't be able to help because they don't have the resources. Their emergency procedures also had plans to move all of their busses and emergency vehicles to higher ground. That wasn't done. They were left to ruin.
As far as federal help...
The President doesn't have the authority to order militry pesonnel in to actually do military work. The governor has to invite them in, ...

I have learned that there are 2 things not to talk with people about, Religion and polotics.
With that being said I do not agree with you said, so we will just have to agree to disagree. 😉

Thanks. That's why I said I didn't want to get into it, I've seen how this forum moves, with reguards to that. It was just the best example that came to my mind at the time.

Are you a customer or an employee?? I actually just quit working for Cingular about three weeks ago and I beg to differ. Even the simplest of things were extremely hard to take care of. I would have to call out to ten different numbers to get things resolved several times, I had at least three calls every week that took several hours and several phone calls to fix due to nobody knowing what is going on there. It's horrible. I am also now a customer (just because the product is good - great reception and the m2m feature) I had to call to get Roadside Assistance added on to my new consumer plan and she told that it is no longer available. I actually had to tell her where to find it and how to add it to my account. In the call center I just lef...

I am a customer, but I do keep up with business and news, and I am a business student. I may not know everything, but from the last information that I saw, Cingular seems to be growing. Maybe not at the rate they'd like, but it is growing.

Just curious, what kind of problem was your co worker having with Verizon.
...
Are you kidding me? I work at Verizon and I take more calls from people who ported to Cingular and then ported back in 2 weeks because of poor service. More than any other carrier.
