I see the Samsung e317 is back on Cingular's website for my area (zip 37604) and the Moto V551 is currently out of stock.
Is this a glitch in the system or are they actually selling the Samsung e317 again. Just curious. 😕

Its showing that for all the markets I checked as well. I believe it is a surplus of the e317s available even though it is no longer being produced.

Would one recommend buying this phone? And if so, can you just buy it online (for new service), call Cingular and order one over the phone, or walk into a Cingular store and buy one?

i dont know if i would recommend it, i mean there are probably phones that have more in the phone feature wise than that phone does have,

sound quality sucks on it. Very low volume and distorted sound. Dont get it.
