on the whole love my job. I like helping people and helping them understand something that they didnt before

but when all i get is the anger and hate that people are able to spew thrown at me I respond in kind with anger

If people would take a second to think that I am a real person on the line not a computer voice and program I think that they would treat us all different. It's annoying, but I usually keep my cool. They have me disassemble my phone, send an update, and usually that works, for a while.

Here's why I do get mad though. Twice, I've gotten a bill where I've been charged for my FREE NW. Both times, when I call in, I...

I deal with situations like yours on a daily basis. I have never thought twice about staying on with a customer until the problem was resolved and they were either happy or they realize the mistake that they made (like giving a 10 yr old a cell phone). The longest that I have stayed on the line with a customer is 3.5 hrs, this was over a ridiculous amount of usage (equaling thousands of dollars) that the customer was not responsible for (a reps error), I have also spent many hours just fixing account structures (generally other reps errors). I can totally see how customers get mad, in some cases I would be livid, but if they are mad for the wrong reason or because they think Cinguar owes them the world I have very little compassion for th...
