Wondering if anyone has any old materials from back around January on the available pricing plans at the time... I signed on with Cingular back at the end of Jan and I swear I remember the media works package that I signed on with had unlimited web. Had to call customer rep on different matter and thought I'd have her check my plans. She tells me that the package I have only has 3mb of web... NOT unlimited. I KNOW THAT CAN'T BE RIGHT. But she insists thats what I have and that Cingular never offered unlimited. But she also said that if I have any print material that I could fax it to her and she'd try to fix it. Anyone have any idea of what I'm talking about?? Am I just nuts and imagining thing??

No, you're right....I don't think I have any printed material left from that period though. We sold the MEdia Works package at 19.99 for 1500 txt, 250 MMS (I think) and Unlimited MEdia Net. The plans were changed on Feb. 13th of 2005. There should be something somewhere that lists that. We're in the middle of cleaning out our stock room, so if I find anything I'll let ya know.

NO, ur not going going crazy I have the plan you are talking about. Its 1500 text, 200 mms an unlimited internet all for $19.99. I heard that if u keep calling in some customer service rep should know what ur talking about an be able to sign u up for the old plan. Also try goin to a corporate store an maybe someone can help u there.

Hope this helps an good luck

Thanks... I knew I wasn't going crazy. And yes it was 1500 txt, something like 250 MMS, and UNLIMITED Media Net. Thank you so much for restoring my sanity and if you do find any material for that old plan I would great appreciate it! Thanks!!

Yes but Cingular customer care should ave asked for a contract stating that you equested that expired feature. If you did indeed ahve that package and it was removed by cingular we need to do an expired feature request to another department and they need to approve it.They will not approve anything without something in writing saying you requested that expired media works package.

But that unlimited media works was the package I originally signed on with. Can Cingular just change your plan with telling you??

No Cingular can not chaneg your plan without telling u. If they do they have to let you out of your contract withouth the early termination fee. If it is on your bill that you had that media works and now someone took it off without your permission. Cingular must get that expired media works back on your account. If you were never billed for it and you requested a copy of your contract probly would be required to get that old feature put back on your account.

If you PM me your wireless number I could certainly check your service and if you such feature back then, I could easily add it.

yes, or I could do it also. One reason that it may have come off was for troubleshooting/removing and readding to fix an issue...
