Does everyone remember the good old days under blue when we had 5-10 minutes between almost every call? Ever since we've been orange, we haven't hired a single care rep (that would mean no new hires in 8 months) and at the most we have 2 1/2 minutes between calls.
Ahh the good old days...just savor the memory because it'll never happen again.

your just headcount either conform to back to back calls or be removed.

Don't even complain becuase my union request relief from back to back calls. That request was denied because they have you blue reps they said they will just replace us with non-union blue if we strike. Just be thankful they are keeping you
...
oh gods.....unions......arer you searious about wanting to strike ........because you take back to back calls? ....wow
...
Over a lot of issues not just back to back calls.

We have kep on hiring and kept on firing here. We are all still blue and it has been quieter here then it used to be, less calls! No orange for us yet. But it looks like there will be 200 orange XBM reps trained here soon.

Wow...be happy you are unionized. We are dealing with a lot of hurdles...1 working for a company that doesn't like third party call centers 2. Working for a company that will close down this center if we brought a union here. 3. Cingular blaming us for all wrong with the company. 4 saying a stupid call closing servery. 5 dealing with disgruntled Americans
...
I'm not unionized and still have the avialability that I've mentioned. I'm at a convergys site as well. That is still only blue, and would never be unionized, and since we are in Canada and stealing jobs they hate us more. 🙂

THEY TOOK OUR JOBS!!!! lol 🤣

I had a customer today complain about how he hated that cingular was outsourced. He did not, however, pick up that i am canadian... phew... (he went off about the old days, about good ol' american culture and keeping the business in the country and how he was in the military and he fought for his country's freedom and now they thank him by giving other countries their jobs and making their country have decreased employment)
I have no opinion either way though on the topic
...
Good thing you didn't let on.... he would've been pissed.

Should have said at the end of the call, "Thank you for calling Cingular wireless, now outsourced to Canadians, one of which you just finished a call with."
...
i personally work in blue customer care (2G) and on average when the shift starts (330 pm) we have sometimes 30 seconds between calls. that will last till 6pm than it goes call after call till bout 830-9 pm than we get about 3-5 min of que till 10 or so than alot of que time

my market is a diversed market...meaning we didn't merge. at&t is alltel here now and it's horrible. we're 100% orange and when we have to call into agent q or credit we always get someone on the blue side and they follow policies to the "t". sometimes it's a little aggrevating (no offense) 😉
