Classic 🤣

Be sure to read the whole thread for full comic effect - if not - be sure to read Homestar's response followed by Tx's and mine.

Do you think you are actually telling me off? Do you actually care what your opinion of me may be? I guess the other day care kids just have stopped playing with you as well.

How was any of that funny? Sure, making yourself look like an a-hole may be entertaining for a short while but it wasn't ever funny. I'd call it tiresome, inciting, and repetitive. All in all, not a good debate. You also came across as having an incomplete thesaurus in front of you, as if you were trying to utilize words you didn't have full mastery of. That would look nice in a paper, but not a debate.

Well how in the hell did I activate a VZW branded V60 on Alltel's network? Simple, I changed the SID and MIN and Alltel entered the ESN into their HLR. Viola! It worked! Now I do know that a Sprint cannot activate on VZW and vice-a-versa due to the frequencies that they use. Like trying to get Fm on an AM radio (overly simplified of course) 🙄

I think the reason you can only Sprint-branded phones with Sprint is their management and billing systems. To my knowledge, the sprint systems will only recognize an ESN from a predetermined lists of ESN's. Once a branded device is assembled and assigned an ESN, that ESN is entered in the database almost immediately. The system will not recognize any ESN that is not on the list. On the other hand, VZW systems will accept an ESN from a non-VZW device (sans Sprint). However, those device will not have the same capabilities as branded phones. Also, a CDMA device from overseas will not be able to utilize VZW's data services. CDMA is less uniform than GSM when it concerns international compatibility.
