I work as a Customer Care Representative for Cingular Wireless?

Worst job? Hardly. You sit in a climate-controlled building, and deal with people over the phone. You don't have to deal with them face-to-face. You know that in [usually] a few minutes, they'll either be off the phone or speaking with someone else.

There are certainly jobs that are less appealing than that.

Climate-Controlled? Yes, they turn on the AC in winter and the heater in summer. I've seen at least THREE complete systems replaced while I've been here, and this is the ONLY building of this size I've ever worked in with that is this uncomfortable!

i would prefer sitting in a truck all day with a suction system doing my job and getting paid more then a cingular rep then actually taking **** from people who would not be so ballsy if they werent on the phone 😉

I fell halfway into a septic tank at my aunt's house when I was 12 years old. Luckily I caught myself before I went in past my neck.
Disgusting, but I found it very amusing.

My dad is a cop in San Diego and one of his friends in Vice slipped in the "muck" while inspecting the stalls. Blew out his knee and back and had to retire.

Nastiest thing I have ever heard.

Man, that is truly filthy--I went into one of those booths when I was young and foolish and never again, truly grotesque environment. A comfy couch, my own DVD player and a tub of (heavily 😉 ) buttered popcorn is the only way I'm experiencing smut these days, thanks very much. Does put me in mind of the old XXX movie theaters of my youth--had a friend who went barefoot into one of those, what the heck was HE thinking?! 🙄

Yeah, you are right. We have such a terrible job. (Sorry to tease you again Aleq) Blue skies to watch, lunch breaks at real restaurants (our call center here in Lubbock is close to NOTHING), real compensation.

Terrible life.

It's not so bad.

You could be seriously underqualified and have to deal with customers everyday that expect you to live up to the standards of being able to do your job in a honest way.

It is not the worst job.......

You could be working in a job where you talk to old, deaf senior citizens all day long. Talking about their Treasury Bills and Notes.

I used to work at ATTWS and VZW. The grass is not always greener on the other side my friend.
